The Funniest Men in the World Classic Comedy Festival
July 5-July 6, 2008
What could be more American on a Fourth of July weekend than a sampling of the comedy that made Hollywood great? Admission is free for these 1920s and '30s feature films and short subjects. Highlights include Charlie Chaplin's "City Lights" on July 5 and Laurel and Hardy's Oscar-winning short "The Music Box" on July 6. Also featured are films with W.C. Fields, Buster Keaton, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.

Step Back in Time at Crossroads Village & The Huckleberry Railroad!Step into Crossroads Village and experience life as it was in the small towns scattered across Flint and Genesee County more than 100 years ago. With its 35 historic structures, Villagers, in period dress, welcome visitors into their homes, mills, and shops dating back to the 1800's. Follow the wooden walks to the post office, schoolhouse, the General Store, cider mill, and other village trades and Victorian-era homes. Experience a ride on the Huckleberry Railroad, a paddle wheel riverboat, or a Parker's 1910 "Superior Wheel."
