Michigan Artists Invitational/ ARTWALK
June 13-July 4, 2008
This month's GFAC Exhibition will feature the Michigan Artists Invitational featuring Denise Willing Booher Melissa Leaym-Fernandez, Vicki Frappier, & Patrick Humphreys. The exhibition reception is Friday, June 13, 2008, from 6-9pm. The exhibit will run fronm June 13-July 3, 2008. Refreshments willl be provided. Music is provided by Stephanie & the Gang, jazz.

Step Back in Time at Crossroads Village & The Huckleberry Railroad!Step into Crossroads Village and experience life as it was in the small towns scattered across Flint and Genesee County more than 100 years ago. With its 35 historic structures, Villagers, in period dress, welcome visitors into their homes, mills, and shops dating back to the 1800's. Follow the wooden walks to the post office, schoolhouse, the General Store, cider mill, and other village trades and Victorian-era homes. Experience a ride on the Huckleberry Railroad, a paddle wheel riverboat, or a Parker's 1910 "Superior Wheel."
Discounted, overnight packages, for two, are available starting as low as $70, which includes accommodations at a Flint and Genesee County area hotel, Village admission, and a train or boat ride. Always Family Friendly! Crossroads' 2008 season runs Saturday, May 24 through Monday, September 1.
