The Salvation Army hosts the Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in Downtown Flint , Saturday & Sunday, July 26 and 27

This event is one of our biggest events and not only supports the work we do for children in the community, but supports our local economy. When Flint and Genesee County join forces we are unstoppable. We host afterschool programs including dance, basketball, youth choir, violin, arts and crafts, cooking classes, tutoring, game and music production with a recording studio. We also offer tutoring and character building, along with food programs that provide snacks and dinner, as well as public food pantry. Since we began just over two years ago, we have had close to 500 children come through the program and we are seeing a real impact in these children, from increased citizenship and scholastic improvements. We are helping these your discover their gifts, dream big, and obtain life skills that help them achieve success. Please help us continue this work through participation in this fundraiser.
