Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the End of WW2!
Eighty years ago, after years of violent conflict raging across the globe, the Second World War finally ended; Americans had put all of their efforts into the cause, whether they volunteered to join the military and fight, worked to build what is now known as the Arsenal of Democracy, planted Victory Gardens, or donated to the War drive. We feel it’s an appropriate time to recognize their collective contributions.
Between the toe-tapping swing music of the Soggy Bottom Big Band and local historian Gary Fisher’s program, VICTORY! Flint and Genesee County & the Arsenal of Democracy, we’re sure you’ll have a darn good time! And we’re SURE this will be a sold-out event!
