Fenton Community Orchestra Spring Concerts

Fenton Community Orchestra

The Fenton Community Orchestra and Simply Strings perform a free concert of orchestral music.

The Fenton Community Orchestra, a full symphonic orchestra, and its partner group for adult novice musicians, Simply Strings, continue their 16th season with Spring Concerts on April 17 (7:00 pm) and April 18 (2:00 pm) at Fenton High School. Renowned composer and conductor Andrew David Perkins will lead the FCO through music from Wicked, Beethoven’s 7th Symphony, Lakmé by Lèo Delibes, Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Tchaikovsky’s 6th Symphony and American Landscape by Soon Hee Newbold.   Simply Strings will contribute Elgar’s Nimrod, Jupiter from Holst’s The Planets, Libertango by Astor Piazzola, Fucik’s famous Entry of the Gladiators, and Celtic Impressions by Rosenhaus.
