Drawing on the Bible is a Sandra Bowden collection of thirty-four drawings and sketches.

Drawing on the Bible, with its thirty-four drawings and sketches, celebrates the inclination of the artist to grasp a pencil or pen as they interpret what they see or how they visualize ideas they are exploring. Each piece imaginatively illustrates and illuminates stories from the Bible. The works in this exhibition date from the mid 1600s to the 21st century and demonstrate the variety of drawing media artists have used in service to the faith.

This exhibit will be on display September through November 16 at First Presbyterian Church Flint. May be viewed during office hours 9-4, Monday- Friday and during Flint ArtWalk the second Friday of each month 6-9pm.
