Gilbert and Sullivan, A Musical Review

Presented by Whaley Historical House Association at Whaley Historic House Museum, Flint MI

Jun 08 2025
Gilbert and Sullivan, A Musical Review

Join us for a delightful afternoon of topsy-turvy musical wit out of the 19th century; this special salon is enhanced by the collaborative efforts of local artists and performers, who are excited to perform live in our formal parlor.

This special salon is an homage to the popular  operetta duo W.S Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan who delighted 19th century audiences on both the opera stage and in private parlors alike. Our formal parlor is the perfect venue for such a musical review and we’re ever so excited produce this show in collaboration with many local talented performing artists! The topsy turvy musical wit of Gilbert and Sullivan is enhanced by the setting of the formal parlor of the Whaley House, transporting our guests back to the Gilded Age when these operas were brand new.
