The Salvation Army will host the 52nd Annual Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in Downtown Flint July 25 and 26. Early registration check-in for pre-registered teams begins Friday, July 24 from 3-7 pm. Tournament play will commence following the opening ceremony at 8 am on Saturday, July 25.Gus Macker Basketball is more than just a game; it’s a celebration of basketball, community, and the spirit of competition.

Founded in 1974 by Scott McNeal, the Macker tournament began as a small, backyard gathering of friends in Lowell, Michigan.
