Holiday Pops at The Whiting- Arts and Culture Commission

The Arts and Culture Commission Invites you to an evening at the whiting for Holiday Pops 2025. Enjoy a light dinner at the community center followed by luxury coach transportation to and from the concert with priority seating at the event.

When: December 20th, 2025

Where: Fenton Community and Cultural Center, 150 S. Leroy St., Fenton, MI 48430

Time: 5:00pm

What to expect: Arrive at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center at 5:00pm for a light dinner and socialization. Tickets to your seats will be given to you at this time. At 6:00pm, attendees will board two charter luxury buses and travel to The Whiting in Flint, Michigan. Guests will be dropped at the doors to The Whiting and buses will remain on the premises for the duration of the show, which begins at 7:00pm and lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes with an intermission. Please note the rules and regulations of The Whiting at the bottom of this page. When the performance concludes, we will exit The Whiting and board our buses to return to the Fenton Community and Cultural Center.

Home for the Holidays returns with a fresh, whimsical twist on the season’s most beloved melodies!

This year’s program will feature the spectacular Meghan Picerno, a renowned soprano best known for her impeccable performance as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and around the world. She’ll join the Flint Symphony Orchestra, Flint Symphony Chorus and the Flint Youth Chorus in an uplifting and playful program that blends traditional carols, cherished hymns and contemporary favorites. This heartwarming celebration is a favorite Flint holiday tradition that always fills hearts and imaginations with the childlike wonder of the season.

About the guest artist:
Internationally acclaimed opera and Broadway star, Meghan Picerno has captivated audiences worldwide. From Broadway’s Majestic Theatre, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center to London’s Royal Albert Hall, to stages across the globe spanning from Japan to Spain to Brazil, she is celebrated as one of the most dynamic sopranos of her generation, hailed by the New York Times as “dazzling”.

Handpicked by theatre legends, Hal Prince and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Meghan returned as Phantom of the Opera’s leading lady, Christine Daaé, for its historic Broadway reopening, where she was nominated as Broadway Replacement of the Decade (Broadway World).
