Levitt AMP Flint Music Series - Kommuna Lux from Ukraine

Back by popular demand after a show-stopping 2024 performance, internationally touring band Kommuna Lux returns to Flint on August 19 for the 2025 Levitt AMP Flint Music Series. Hailing from Odesa, Ukraine, the group brings their high-energy blend of Odesa urban folk, klezmer, and Balkan rhythms to the back lawn of Totem Books (620 W. Court St., Flint, MI) from 6:30–8:30 p.m. With humor, heart, and infectious beats, Kommuna Lux delivers a soul-lifting, dance-inducing show that transforms any stage into a joyful celebration.

This free outdoor concert is part of a 10-show lineup presented by Communities First, Inc. with support from the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation. The Levitt AMP Flint Music Series brings diverse musical acts from around the world to public spaces across the city, creating vibrant community gatherings filled with live music, food trucks, games, and local resource tables.
