Process Art Class

A colorful outdoor Mommy & Me process-art experience where little artists and their grown-ups use paint-covered balloons to plop, bounce, roll, and stamp across a large canvas. Come ready to **create, explore, and get messy together!**

Mommy & Me Balloon Plop Painting
Join us for a morning of BIG, messy outdoor art! During Mommy & Me Balloon Plop Painting, children and their grown-ups will work together to transform a large canvas using balloons, washable paint, and lots of movement. Instead of paintbrushes, children will dip, cover, plop, bounce, roll, squish, and drag balloons through different colors of paint. They’ll get to experiment with pressure, movement, color mixing, and cause and effect while creating a one-of-a-kind collaborative piece. This is process art, which means there’s no picture to copy and no expectation for the finished artwork to look a certain way—the experience of creating, experimenting, moving, and getting messy is the entire point!
