Asbury CDC

Asbury Community Development Corporation (Asbury CDC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located on the east side of Flint, Michigan, dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents through food access, community development, and workforce opportunities. Since its founding, Asbury CDC has worked to address food insecurity, strengthen neighborhoods, and create pathways to economic mobility through innovative programs that serve children, families, seniors, and underserved populations.

Through initiatives such as Asbury Farms, the South Flint Soup Kitchen, the Help Center and Food Pantry, and the Sizzling Culture Youth Workforce Development Program, Asbury CDC provides fresh local produce, nutritious meals, emergency assistance, job training, and educational opportunities to the community. By fostering partnerships, empowering residents, and promoting sustainable solutions, Asbury CDC continues to build a healthier, stronger, and more resilient Flint for future generations.
